Farm to Table Kitchen Remodel

Over the summer, we had the pleasure of doing a full kitchen remodel just outside of Portland. The clients are avid cooks who also love to bake and grow many of their own herbs and vegetables.

Their previous kitchen was lacking the functionality needed with a growing family. With little storage and not enough room for baking, the overall footprint of the existing space just wasn't cutting it. The home had a large sliding glass door just off the kitchen, but still nowhere near the natural light the family would like to see in the room.

Once we took inventory of the problems presented, we went to work on designing a more functional kitchen. A baking center was added, along with a window directly above. See below for our kitchen remodel before and after photos.

A larger island was installed, built-in compost area and ventilation for better airflow when cooking.

The newly remodeled kitchen is just as beautiful as it is functional. The rustic alder lower cabinets add an earthy element to the kitchen which aligned perfectly with the clients style. This was an exciting project to see come together and we are thankful to have been a part of it!
